Breitling at the 50th Anniversary National Championship Air Races in Reno, Nevada

SEPTEMBER 13-15, 2013

Thank you for celebrating with Breitling the special 50th Anniversary of the National Championship Air Races in Reno! We hope you enjoyed your weekend full of exciting festivities surrounding, “The World’s Fastest Motorsports” event, where planes reached speeds in excess of 500mph while flying at times only 30 feet above the ground and tightly around the signature Breitling pylons racing against their competitors.

In addition, you were able to witness a bit of racing history as Yves “Jetman” Rossy flew high above the race course at speeds up to 190 miles per hour using his customized carbon-Kevlar® jetwing fitted with four engines, each of which is capable of 22 kg thrust and controlled by a simple hand-held throttle.  You were also able to see a special race between the Breitling CAP 232 Plane and the new Bentley Continental GT Speed Le Mans Limited Edition to commemorate the tenth anniversary of the Breitling for Bentley collaboration.

Please enjoy some of these special memories in this selection of pictures from the event.
